OS X keeps losing it in the startup. I just did a restore on this laptop about 3 mos ago. Has anyone else seen the need to restore their os on their MacBook frequently. Like 3 times a year. I have yet to run this MacBook without needing to redo the os or having to take it to the Apple store a couple times a year. Nov 4, 2014 - If Lion is the newest version of OS X that will run on your Mac, but you. If you have an iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, or Mac mini model that.
Hello!
I would be really happy if you could give me an advise! I'm not sure if I should upgrade my MacBook Pro now or if I could use my MacBook Pro for a bit longer..
I have a MacBook Pro Late 2011 with a 2,4 GHz Intel Core i5, a 500Gb HDD and 4Gb RAM. Either I could get 8Gb/16Gb RAM and a 500Gb SSD or I could get a new MacBook Pro/iPad Pro. Especially I want to know, how long do you think I will get the newest version of macOS.
Thank you very much for answers! I really appreciate it :)
Cheers, Tim
P.S.: I'm not a heavy user and I'm a student, so maybe I could get a discount..
Is this a good question?
After adding several Mac models to its “vintage” and “obsolete” list in early May, Apple will add even more to the list at the end of June. According to 9to5Mac, the following models will be made obsolete on June 30:
Mid 2011 MacBook Air (11-inch and 13-inch)
Late 2011 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch)
Mid 2009 MacBook Pro (17-inch)
In addition to the MacBooks, Apple has also added the first generation Airport Express and iPhone 3GS to the list.
